This type of investing is done in the Foreign Exchange Market, or sometimes known as currency, forex, or FX. The FX market exists wherever you have one currency trading for another. Because the FX market is considered a speculative investment, stringent conditions must be follow. The main trading centers for the FX market are in London, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore, but banks throughout the world participate.
